Why are you looking for a new opportunity?

Enjoyed being an entrepreneurial consultant for a year but decided my heart was in working for an employer again.

What are the top three things that you like doing the most in your work?

Financial and operational modeling. I like building out the parameters of a decision and seeing what potential outcomes would take place depending on which action we take.

Power BI reports and dashboards. I enjoy creating Power BI reports and dashboards because they allow the teams that I work on to focus more on data information that is live and more comprehensive.

Financial and data analysis. I enjoy analyzing data and telling a story from it.

What do you see as your strongest skills, and what are your key challenges?

Strengths:

My technical skills are a strength: Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL. My analytical abilities are another strength of mine. My writing and communication skills are another strength that I have.

Key Challenges:

1. Have limited experience working for a large organization so may take some time to adapt to culture and protocol.

What type of work environments do you prefer?

I prefer to work in collaborative environments where everyone is working towards a common goal and is not unwilling to help another team member out. I value having a high degree of autonomy and working in a more decentralized work environment.

1. BBAs in Finance and Accounting from the University of Houston. 2. MBA in Finance from the University of Houston-Victoria. 3. Professional Certificate in Data Analytics from Rice University. 4. Currently pursuing a Professional Certificate in AI for Business from the University of Texas.
