What are the top three things that you like doing the most in your work?

Sales strategy overall. But I particularly enjoy uncovering untapped market opportunities and developing plans to develop those opportunities.
Team development, especially coaching and mentoring.
Identifying and building strategic relationships with business partners, vendors, community partners, etc.

What do you see as your strongest skills, and what are your key challenges?

Seeing the big picture and implementing initiatives that get measurable results that track back to the business development vision.
I'm a hands-on, collaborative type leader, so I do best when working with line managers and employees who have a willing to give input and have some critical thinking ability. I enjoy coaching and mentoring, so I can bring out more of that in people, but I admit I get easily frustrated with people who are content to simply be "order takers."
Ideally, I like a fast paced environment. I do best when our team can be responsive and nimble in the market.
