I have a BS in Marine Science from Texas A&M where I worked in a coastal sediment geology laboratory throughout my later years of my undergraduate. I then went on to obtain my MA in Geography from East Carolina University, where I wrote a thesis on coastal flood vulnerability in North Carolina. I have my GIS certificate, and I have also participated in HAZUS training from FEMA as well.

What's unique about me?

I am the chair of the Historic Preservation Committee of my neighborhood, which is a nationally registered Historic District. I have found a passion in preservation of historic neighborhoods!
